Coming to America: Understanding the US Market and How Your Business Can Succeed

Event Navigation

EVENT DESCRIPTION

After the successful event held in March for Transatlantic Chamber members introducing the U.S. Embassy, here is a further event with even more rich content on the US market with a variety of speakers.

Have you considered the US market for investment or trade and would like to understand more? When you think of business and investment opportunities in the United States, where’s the best place to start?  America is made up of 50 states plus territories and each location has its own unique economic profile.

The Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce along with partners would like to invite you to hear from various experts on how to overcome the challenges of establishing yourself in the US as well as how best to trade with the American market. Also hear from speakers that have already successfully laid down roots in the US as well as hear about opportunities in the West Midlands for US companies to establish here.

After the successful delivery of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, the Council of American States in Europe are visiting Birmingham on the 12th October to share valuable information from eight high profile states in the USA along with the support and the soft landing programmes available. This is also an opportunity to speak with the US Embassy Commercial Department who will be speaking on the support available from their various programmes.
