Antoine Guillaud

President of IMS

Expert Comptable (French CPA)

Antoine Guillaud, President of IMS and founding partner of IAS, is an Expert Comptable (French CPA) with more than 25 years of experience assisting foreign companies establish themselves in the US market.

Before founding International Management Solutions in 1998, Antoine was a partner at McGladrey & Pullen in Chicago in the International Services department. Prior to his post in the United States, Antoine worked in England with Robson Rhodes, now a member of Grant Thornton, and in Paris with Salustro Reydel, now a member of KPMG.

In addition to his established career in the industry, Antoine has served on the Board of Directors of the French American Chamber of Commerce of Chicago.

Sonia Kanjee

Director, UK Practice, IMS

CPA

Sonia is a CPA with 12 years of experience in US taxation. Since her move to London, she has specialized in international expansion and advising multinational corporations with investments and operations in the US. Her expertise includes US financial reporting and advisory (ASC 740), federal, state, & local tax compliance, and domestic mergers & acquisitions.

At IMS, Sonia is the leader of the UK practice, responsible for business development initiatives, client relationship management, and cross-border tax structuring & advisory services.

Ben Troch

Director, Benelux Practice, IMS

Master Degree of Taxation and Master Degree of Laws in Belgium

Ben has more than 6 years of experience working with international clients, especially in the field of income taxation and international mobility. Prior to his move to the United States, Ben worked as a Senior Tax Consultant within the PwC People & Organization department in Brussels.

In his role as Client Manager, Ben provides various tax & consultancy services, and is based in our Belgium office.

Hugues Retif

Director of Operations, Chicago Office

Accounting Master’s Degree in France

Hugues has assisted French companies in setting up their businesses in the United States for more than 20 years.

With certifications in taxation and accounting and tax management system implementation, Hugues and his team solve the specific business challenges of IMS clients during the critical phase of launching or scaling up a business in the US.

Prior to working with IMS in our Midwest office, Hugues was the Director of Accounting and Advisory services at a CPA firm, the Associate Director at a consulting firm and VP of Finance and Operations of a French apparel company in New York City.

Jonathan Eessalu

Assitant Tax Director, IMS

CPA

Jonathan is an Illinois licensed CPA and has more than 15 years of experience working with large and small companies from multiple industries to meet their US tax compliance needs. Before joining IMS, Jonathan was a senior manager at Crowe, LLP.

In addition to tax compliance, Jonathan has over 11 years of experience assisting companies with the tax aspects of an acquisition, including buy-side due diligence, sell-side due diligence, and transaction structuring.

Michael Richter

Managing Partner, IAS

CPA

Michael has more than 20 years of experience in the audit of US subsidiaries of foreign companies, especially with French and German concerns. Before starting his career as an auditor, Michael was an engineer and worked in industry for 11 years.

He joined IAS at its inception as the partner in charge of Audit and the Managing Partner of IAS.
