Showcase of Belgian Excellence in BioPharma

IMS is excited to attend this pharma event hosted by AWEX, FIT and Hub.Brussels. Join us to learn how supply chain, biomanufacturing, and innovations in Belgium are shaping the global pharma industry.

The event will be held simultaneously virtually and in person at the Consulate General of Belgium in New York and will feature four expert speakers who will highlight Belgium’s leadership in the global Biopharma space.

Mr. Charles-Andre Brouwers, Founder and Managing Partner of Galileo Life Sciences, with 30 years of experience in growth strategy, business development, M&A, and large-scale transformation in the Healthcare Sector, will be the MC for the event.

Mrs. Tineke Van de Voorde, Key Account Manager for shippers and forwarders at Port of Antwerp-Bruges, will explain and highlight the port’s best practices in the end-to-end GDP (Good Distribution Practice) supply chain, and how they fit in the larger Belgian context.

Mr. Frederic Druck, Secretary General at Bio.be/Essenscia, will showcase why Belgium is a front runner in the competitive European biopharmaceutical manufacturing landscape, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr. Dhavalkumar (Dhaval) Patel, Executive Vice President & Chief Scientific Officer at UCB, will explain why UCB has chosen to develop their hub manufacturing, research, and development in Braine-l’Alleud, South of Brussels.

After the seminar, a networking lunch will be offered until 1 pm.
