International Management Solutions Inc. is a tax, accounting and consulting firm dedicated to assisting European companies doing business in the USA. We are a small but global team with big aspirations.
The Role
This is a versatile, collaborative role responsible for managing all of our new clients. We are looking for a US Certified Public Account, French Expert Comptable or UK Chartered Accountant with significant experience in setting up and managing the tax, payroll and accounting functions of a newly created company in the USA. They will be results focused with a passion for building and maintaining strong, genuine relationships with all stakeholders. They will be fully cognisant of the issues when setting up a new corporation in the USA and have the capacity to anticipate client needs, contributing towards company growth.
Duties
- Actively participate in the development of a comprehensive onboarding strategy for all new European clients
- Obtain a deep understanding of the client’s present and future needs according to their business model
- Ensure our clients are provided with a seamless onboarding experience by educating and partnering with them
- Project manage the team and all client onboarding activities
- Collaborate with our Business Development, Tax, Payroll/HR and Accounting teams to ensure all clients’ needs and compliance requirements are met on schedule
- Supervise the technical integration of accounting software set-up (Intacct, QuickBooks, Bill.com, Avalara Shopify and other web systems)
- Utilize IMS’ expertise and business tools to develop relationships with clients, futureproof their business and expand commercial potential
Skills and experience required
- CPA, French Expert Comptable or UK Chartered Accountant
- Recent minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CPA/Accounting firm
- Solid experience analysing the tax consequences of a business model in the US, including the subsequent tax compliance, implementation of US HR including Benefits and Payroll, and utilisation of an accounting system and procedure
- Technically adept with experience in integrating accounting and tax software
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Inquisitive and curious
- Exceptional project and deadline management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a changing environment
- Friendly, patient, clear and confident communicator and fluent in English
- French/European language is a bonus but not necessary
