Chicago and Paris sign MoU

MATTER, a Chicago healthcare technology incubator and PARIS&Co, the economic development and innovation agency in Paris have joined together to formalize their partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).  The signing by Steven Collens, CEO of Matter and Thomas Wald, Business Development Director, Life Sciences at Paris&Co took place at 222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza #1230 in Chicago in the presence of Deputy Mayor of Chicago, Steve Koch, and the Consul General of France in Chicago, Vincent Floreani.  The Memorandum aims at fostering growth of each of the parties’ ecosystems through the circulation of startups between the two sister cities, Paris and Chicago.  The startups will be provisioned with local co-working facility (free of charge), advice on setting up and doing business in Paris/Chicago, access to events organized by the parties for a period of 3 months, renewable.
